He is sired by Absolute (Choncho son from Cabinass). Absolute has sired a great set of lambs this year in only his second year of service.  Sloan's champion is dammed by a Snapshot ewe that goes back to the ever popular Chilly ewe family.  Mike would like to congratulate the Sloan family and thank them for their continued support of his program!  Also a big congrats to Andy for ending his show career with a bang!

This lamb is a result of 38 years of sheep production by the Fred Johnson Family. Fruchey's champion lamb was sired by My Time and dammed by a Creole ewe.  My Time worked very well for Fred and Sally and produced them a keeper buck lamb that they are very excited about named Times Squared.  My Time was purchased in the America's Top 20 by Nicholas Slough from Texas. The Creole ewe is a young ewe that has two keeper ewes in the flock and also goes way back to Fred's main ewe family Walking Tall.  Fred and Sally would like to congratulate and thank MacKenzie Fruchey Family and Randy Hill.

He is sired by Hardwood (Bones son, Guywire grandson from Bruce Achor).  Hardwood has sired 2 outstanding sets of lambs at G&G and at Bruce's and has quickly developed a reputation for siring balanced, sound, complete, fault free lambs with heavy bone, lots of shag, and a great touch.  Hardwood's first sons (Mighty Oak, 2154, 858, and All Day) have also proven themselves here, at Bruce's, and at RCR Show Lambs.  Hardwood has proven to be the perfect compliment to our ewe base which is heavily influenced by Brian Johnson's genetics and he has earned his place as the focal point of our breeding program for years to come.  G&G would like to congratulate Ryan Waltke and his family for this outstanding win and thank Randy Hill for placing this lamb.

This lamb was sired by Maverick, a Top Gun X 2001 daughter, we were fortunate to purchase from McIlrath/Wattonville/Schmitz club lambs. The dam of Troy’s champion lamb also produced the 2009 Iowa State Fair Grand Champion FFA Wether Dam and a Maverick daughter (purchased by McIlrath Club Lambs) produced the 2009 Missouri State Fair Overall Champion Wether Dam.  Other State Fair Champions produced by Maverick include Reserve Champion Suffolk and Grand Champion Natural Color Market lambs at the 2009 Missouri State Fair. New for 2012, we have purchased an outstanding 100 Son raised by Brad and Deb Ott. “Swagger 100” is extremely modern and intriguing in is look, his skeletal squareness and stoutness, driven up in his chest floor, and extra level and wide in his pin set will compliment our breeding program very nicely. We're awfully excited about him!  Hayes Show Lambs would like to congratulate and thank Troy Sloan and family for their hard work!

He is sired by Nitro, who has done a great job for us in this his second set of lambs. He has sired 6 champions at the state fair level already! He is dammed by a Phantom daughter who is the twin to the Grand Champion Lamb at the 2010 PA State Farm Show. This ewe line has proudcer 3 state fair grands in 2 yrs! Congratulations to Jake Knutson in his last year at the Minnesota State Fair.  This champion was sired by Texas Driller (Miller the Driller X Schrank Ceasar daughter). The dam of this lamb was the Reserve market ewe at the 2009 Iowa State Fair FFA show out of Miller the Driller.  Miller the Driller and his progeny have produced multiple champions across the country. This ewe lamb is sired by Denali who is sired by 62 (Dead Miller son from David Garrett) and is dammed by a double bred Leverage ewe.  We are super excited about the Denali babies this year and are really looking forward to using him again for 2012!  Denali also sired the Grand Ewe in the ISF show/sale and the reserve lightweight Suffolk at ISF along with many champions throughout the summer.  Congratulations to the Berlet family and Wyatt Nixon for exhibiting this powerful ewe lamb at the ISF open show!!

Congratulations Jacque Murdoch on a remarkable summer show season including the Grand Champion Market Lamb at the Iowa State Fair Open Show.  Jacque’s lamb was sired by Fairwether’s Tuff Duff ram (Wooly Mammoth X Leo)  and Fairwether 513.   All of Fairwether’s entries at the show were sired by Tuff Duff and also included the Reserve Champion Hamp and overall Reserve Grand Champion.   In addition to the consistent set of lambs sired by Tuff Duff in 2011,   he was also responsible for siring the Champion Shropshire at the 2011 OYE last March.

This Champion was sired by Goose, our Stud Duck son purchased from Middlesworth in 2010 as a lamb.  He has had quite a year siring numerous champions and class winners in Idaho, Oregon, Utah and Montana (over 25 so far this summer).  His lambs have made a statement winning Grand and Reserve at the largest County Fair in Idaho and winning Grand Champion honors at the Western Idaho State Fair.  Goose also sired our highly talked about speckle wether at Reno that went on to win Champion Crossbred and Reserve overall honors.  He also sired the top selling speckle ewe lamb at the Reno All American.   Look for outstanding lambs from him in both our blackface and speckle programs next year in only his second year of service.  Congratulations to all the youth that have had so much success with Fisher Lambs this summer and a special congrats to Madison Fisher on winning the Western Idaho State Fair!

Congratulations to Brinn Begalka for showing the 2011 South Dakota State Fair Grand Champion 4-H Lamb. This makes 7 Grands and 2 Reserves in the past 9 years for Begalka lambs. This ewe lamb is sired by "Upgrade". Her Composure dam was the $8500 top selling ewe from the 2010 Dynamic Divas Sale. Upgrade did an unbelievable job in his first lamb crop which also included our very popular Sedalia consignment.

Congratulations to Abby Englin on being named Champion FFA Market Lamb at the 2011 South Dakota State Fair. This ewe lamb has been a favorite in the show string this summer, taking not only Champion in the FFA show but also Reserve Champion Hampshire at South Dakota Summer Spotlight, and Reserve Champion Market Lamb in the 4H show at the South Dakota State Fair. She is sired by G27, a ceasar son, and out of a stout Miller 228 daughter. Abby also showed another G27 daughter out of a Classic daughter who was named the Reserve Division 5 Market Ewe Lamb at the South Dakota State Fair, this ewe was also Champion Ewe and Reserve Overall Market Lamb at Brookings County Achievment Days.

This 2011 champion was sired by "Swagger" and dammed by an Intrigue daughter.  Swagger has created quite a name for himself by being about as consistent as a buck can be, while having that unique ability to produce major show caliber wethers and buck lambs that are better than he was.  Call us early in the spring to come look thru his sons as well as babies sired by our exciting, Swagger sired keeper buck "Crazy".

I would like to start of by thanking Barb and Jaime Banbury for placing this lamb in Minnesota.  I would also like to thank the Drewry family for having confidence in buying this lamb from Barb this past spring.  This sheep is a twin to the Division 2 Reserve Champion Cross lamb that was shown at the Indiana State Fair by the Schinbeckler Family.   This sheep was out of a Endeavor ewe x 101 which was purchased from Larry DeSpain  Thanks again to the Drewry family for having this sheep show ready and getting him into the Winner's Circle.

The grand lamb was dammed by an Easy Money daughter, a Cabaniss bred ram that also sired the Reserve Grand Champion at the 2008 National Western Stock Show.  We thank James Duffey for leasing 61 to us for the 2011 and 2012 lamb crops!

Curtis's Grand at KJLS was first chosen champion cross at 153 pounds. He is a Interstate son on a Wallstreet ewe born twin January 30, 2011. Curtis chose Hinze 57 as his number one pick of our blackface lambs this spring. Curtis is a senior at Cherryvale High School and a starter on the football team. He plans to go to Kansas State to further his education. Congratulation on a job well done!

Congratulations to Hayley Blevins with her Grand Champion lamb at the Virginia State Fair and their many successes with him in the jackpot circuit this summer.  This was the first year Rule Sheep Company has had lambs showing in Virginia and we are extremely proud and thankful for the great job the Blevins family did with this lamb.  Also a big thank you to Chad, Amy, and Cade Charmanson for helping place this lamb and their continual follow-up with the Blevins family.  RSC 1053 was sired by Unleaded and out of an Unleaded x MVP daughter.  Unleaded has had another great State Fair season in 2011, siring the Grand or Reserve Market lamb or Commercial ewe at Ohio, Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota, Tennessee, Kansas, North Dakota, Mississippi, and now Virginia along with the high selling rams at both Sedalia and Reno.  Thank you again to the Blevins and all of our customers for making 2011 such a memorable summer.
